Hon. (Prince) Nureni Ayinde Akinsanya, popularly called OSMAK, is one of the popular lawmakers in Lagos, seeking re-election. He is a valued member of the Lagos State House of Assembly, representing Mushin Constituency 1. And he is seeking re-election, from his Mushin constituents.
He is well-loved in his constituency because of his sterling
contributions and keeping good his promises of impacting positively on the
lives of his people.
CityPeople went round his constituency recently to assess his
performance and
many people told CityPeople that OSMAK is sure of victory at the polls because he has done a lot to win the hearts of his people in Mushin Constituency 1.
In the last few years, he has targeted the young and the old, Male and Female, doing a lot to alleviate poverty. He has held JAMB Screening exercise. He has also hosted Ward Champions Cup to engage the Youth in Mushin Constituency 1.
He has done many more. That is why he has been described
variously as the Game changer, and the voice vote for continuity and Quality
representation.
Looking back at the journey so far, he said, it is a great
honour for him to have been elected to serve his people. "I am happy to have been elected by the good
people of Mushin Constituency 1, Lagos State,
to represent them at the Lagos State House of Assembly."
"I will forever be grateful for this unforgettable
gesture, by their keeping faith in me with their mandate. Though, the last few
years have been very demanding. But with
determination, commitment and their support, we have been able to achieve all
that we have done, Our term in office was characterized by so many challenges
i.e, the COVID-19 pandemic and the drop
in government revenue, due to the meltdown of the world economy, of which our
country Nigeria was not an exception. To the glory of God, we were able to
scale through the storm.
Let me use this medium
to outline some of our modest achievements below. It is my belief that, if they
entrust me with their mandate for the second term, the experience gathered from
the first term in office, will be used to the maximum, for more dividends of
Democracy,

Let me tell you a little about my Sponsored Bills.
My first motion which was moved at the floor of the assembly
last year was:
Curbing Incessant collapse of Buildings in Lagos State.

3. Lagos State Public Procurement Agency Bill, 2021.

How about my constituency projects? There are so many, like:
1. Donation of 6 vehicles (Korope) to members of the
constituency to support their livelihood.
2. Digging of automated Boreholes, fully equipped with power
machines at different locations in Odi-Olowo Ojuwoye LCDA, as part of 20
million Empowerment Programme
3. Distribution of Free JAMB forms to indigent students in the
Constituency.
4. Distribution of four different phases of stimulus packages
to people of the Constituency during the lockdown of the state.
5. Fumigation of various religious centres
6. Facilitation of the rehabilitation of Abiodun street and
ongoing construction of Abiodun primary school.
What many like about him is accessibility. He is available and
ready to help people. He is a grassroots
man who is constantly touching lives.
No wonder his name is on the lips of many people.
