Mr. Seyi Alaba, the Captain of Ibadan Golf Club (IGC) and CEO
of PG Security, held a glamorous party in honour of his beautiful wife, Mrs.
Nike Alaba at 50 on Sunday, 14 December, 2025.
The party held at the popular World Lilies Events Place,
Oluyole area of Ibadan, the capital city of Oyo State, underscores Seyi Alaba's
lovable personality as well as his high taste for quality stuff and his
business and social networks.
Not only was the party massively attended but guests had a
special taste of the Alaba's prowess as excellent hosts.
Alaba, a renowned security expert, actually pulled out all the stops for his wife Nike's 50th birthday.
The event was a vibrant tapestry of colour, elegance, and
heartfelt joy, truly a testament to a beautiful partnership.
Guests were immediately enveloped in a breathtaking ambience.
The venue was transformed with exquisite decorations, a symphony of floral
arrangements, soft lighting, and tasteful drapery that exuded sophistication,
creating a cosy and festive atmosphere.
Every detail, from the personalised centrepieces to the
shimmering backdrops, the plank walls bearing the celebrant's adorable large
photos, the green carpet, the 360" video corner, spoke of meticulous
planning and a desire to create a truly unique experience.
The birthday reception was officially declared open shortly
after the celebrant's grand entrance into the hall with her lovely family (all
decked in matching Aso-Oke traditional attires), followed by a brief praise and
worship and prayer for the celebrant.
As the evening progressed, the air buzzed with delightful
energy. A live band filled the space with good music, ensuring the dance floor
was never empty, while a skilled DJ seamlessly transitioned between genres,
catering to every taste.
Apart from the wonderful performances from Wole Ojo's Icons
Music Entertainment Band and the DJ, the entertainment also included Karaoke
and Salsa dance performances.
It was indeed a fun-filled evening. Guests were held
spellbound throughout the reception and after-party, enjoying abundant food
and drinks.
Guests were treated to a lavish spread featuring an incredible
variety of foods, from local delicacies to international cuisines as well as
finger foods and desserts, all prepared to perfection.
Complementing the food was an extensive selection of choice
drinks which ranged from assorted drinks to red wines and premium whiskey,
brandy and champagnes.
What about the beautiful birthday cake? It was a magnificent,
multi-tiered masterpiece, a work of art in itself that perfectly captured
Nike's radiant personality.
While every bit of the party was interesting, the high point
of the whole occasion was the testimonies section, during which the celebrant
was described by many as a virtuous, caring, warm, kind, and dependable friend,
wife, and loving mother.
Mr. Ayodeji Boamah's Pryhmshift Events planned the party.
Ripples Catering and Events; Ashabi Tommy Care (Amala Special) and others
supplied the sumptuous meals, while Divine Ice handled the drinks.
It was an evening where every guest felt cherished, every
moment was celebrated, and the love between Seyi and Nike shone brighter than
any decoration.
