Baale of Elenusonso, Chief Asimiyu Ayoade Akorede (JP),
Orowole II, has installed Chief Madam Oladunmomi Omotanbaje Alade, a Nigerian
UK-based nurse, as the Yeye Jagunmolu of Elenusonso Land, Ibadan in Ido Local
Government Area of Oyo State.
The installation ceremony, which took place on Saturday, 18th January 2025, at Elenusonso Community School, Ibadan, had dignitaries from all walks of life, including family and friends of the new Yeye Jagunmolu, within and beyond the shores of Nigeria, in attendance.
After the conferment rites, performed by Baale Akorede, invited guests and family members were hosted in a glamorous and colourful reception at the same venue. It was a fun-filled and exciting moment as Yeye Omotanbaje proved herself as a super hostess to her guests, who stormed the coronation ceremony from the UK, US, and other parts of the world. There were more than enough dishes (both local and continental) and drinks of various grades for everyone. The whole party was packaged by Reward Catering Services and Events Planner.

Yeye Omotanbaje during the installation wasn't surprising. Those who know the
new Yeye Jagunmolu know that she is a lovable and a well-mannered woman. She is
also well loved and respected both at home and in Woolwich, UK, her base.
Chief Madam Oladunmomi Omotanbaje Alade, the Yeye Jagunmolu of
Elenusonso Patako Land, Ibadan, is a seasoned Nurse in the UK. She specializes in
caring for elderly people. She is a native of Patako, Ibadan.
She attended All Saints Primary School, Osogbo and Adekile Goodwill Grammar School, Ibadan, for her primary and secondary school education respectively. Omotanbaje is a Nigerian registered nurse, Nigerian registered Midwife, Nigerian registered Specialist Orthopaedic Nurse, and a registered Public Health Officer in the United Kingdom. She is also a registered Operating Department Practitioner, the United Kingdom. She holds BSc in Public Health, MSc in Public Health, PgD, DipODP, and more. She's an Anaesthetic Clinical Lead at one of the UK's foremost teaching hospitals, University Hospital Lewisham, London.
The new Yeye Jagunmolu also belongs to several social
associations and medical bodies. She is the Ground Matron of FLF Club of
Nigeria and the UK. She is General Adviser to Pretty Babes Club in Nigeria and the UK,
and also PRO for Oluyole Progressive Union UK and Ireland.
She's the CEO, Dunmomi Ventures Limited Company in the UK and
Nigeria. She's also the Founder, Dunmomi Charity Organisations.
Yeye Omotanbaje is not just a successful career and businesswoman but also comes from a very prominent family in Ibadanland. Her late father, High Chief Sanusi Ayeriyina Ogunrinu Alade, was the Otun Baale of Patako and the Babalaje of Sango Community in his lifetime. Her mum is Alhaja Musiliat Kikelomo Alade. Yeye Omotanbaje's ancestors were custodians of the Jagunmolu title because they were great warriors in those days.
