Afia CEO Mogaji Adanla Holds New Year, House-Warming Party In Style

 

The new year 2025 has commenced on a high note for the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Afia Construction & Building Engineering Consultancy Services Ltd., Engr. Abduljelyl Adekunle Karheem MCIArb, MCIOB, МСАВЕ.

 

Engr. Karheem, who doubles as Turaki Adini of Oyo State and the Mogaji (family head) of Adanla Compound on the first day of the year (Wednesday, 1st January,2025), hosted family and friends to a moderate but colourful get-together, marking the official opening of his new mansion and new year party.

 

Adanla, as the real estate expert is popularly known, it would be recalled, threw an exclusive 3-in-1 party recently, during which he marked his 52nd birthday, signed an MOU with Union Homes Savings and Loans, and unveiled the hot-selling Afia Court Ring Road, Ibadan. The memories of the party held at Sheraton Lagos Hotel, Ikeja can't be forgotten in a hurry.

 

However, the new year and house-warming celebration was a total departure from the last party. This, according to Adanla, was so in other to honor the souls lost to the recent stampede tragedy in Ibadan.

 

But as moderate as the party was, it still attracted a good number of top dignitaries from business, politics, social and Islamic circles.

 

The program started with an opening prayer by Sheikh Isqil Sugar, the Wakil Mumini of Yorubaland land, Edo and Delta, after which there was Quran recitation by Alhaji Abubakar.

 

Sheikh Hashim AbdulWahab Olamide Atere, Chairman, Oyo State Pilgrims Welfare’s Board (Muslim Wing), handled the special thanksgiving aspect of the program while Prof. K.K Olosho rendered special prayers for the executive governor of Oyo State, Engr. 'Seyi Makinde.

 

In his short sermon, Sheikh Muyideen Kareem Onihantu emphasized on why one should pray for God to channel his or her progress through a successful person. Noting that when one is blessed with a good father, his or her success is secured. Adanla's successes, he said, are unconnected with his background and not deviating from Allah's path as well as his immense contributions to the growth of Islam.

 

These coupled with his philanthropic gestures towards mankind, according to Onihantu, are the reasons God has been faithful to Adanla.

 

All other speakers at the program also spoke high of Adanla's continuous supports toward the progress of Islam, and his immediate environment.

 

Trust Adanla, he didn't disappoint at the program as he gave out over almost 3 million naira to the league of imams and others. Little wonder that it was unanimously agreed at the program that Adanla been promoted from Turaki Adini of Oyo State to Turaki Adini of Yorubaland. So, when next you see Adanla, you should be familiar with his new title.

 

After the prayer session, dignitaries were led in the official opening of the mansion by the Chief Imam of Ibadanland, Sheikh AbdulGaniy Abubakri Agbotomokekere.

 

The guests were entertained by a popular female Islamic singer, Maryam Ajeigbe Daud. There was also a cultural performance by an Ewi chanter, Ibile Ojogbon and his group.

 

Some of the dignitaries at the party included Sheikh Isqil Sugar, the Wakil Mumini of Yorubaland, Edo and Delta, who represented the League of Imam and Alfas in Yorubaland; Sheikh Dohak Oseni Mustapha, who represented Mudir Morkaz, Sheikh Abeeb Adam Al ilori, and Alhaji Yekini Abass, aka Y.K Abass, the Babaloja of Oyo State.

 

Also not left out at the party were some prominent Islamic clerics including Sheikh Abdulrahmon Mustapha; Sheikh Daud Adanla; Sheikh Abdulrahmon Badmus Adanla, and Sheikh Taofeeq Akeugbagold, the Wasiri Musulumi of Oyo State.

 

Others are Hon. Ademola Omotosho,  Chairman, Oyo State Housing Corporation; Commissioner for Women Affairs, Hon. Toyin Balogun; Alhaja Rashidat Popoola and husband; Alhaji Saheed Adanla, and Alhaji Awujoola,  C.E.O of the popular Olekoko Herbal Mixture.

 

There are also the likes of Alhaji Wasiu Ajimobi, the younger brother of late former governor of the state, Senator Isiak Ajimobi; Hon. Kazeem Bibire; the Chairman of Oluyole Local Government, Hon. (Engr.) Akeem Olatunji; Abdulakeem Ajayi; Prince Abolaji; Alhaja Mujidat Adanla; Ajayi Balogun; Alhaji Alao Lateef; Sheu Salam, among others.

 

Apart from the presence of top celebrities at the party, those who also made big statements were Mogaji Adanla's beautiful wives. The three of them looked gorgeous in their uniform lace and gele to match. They are Olori Kudirat Adebisi Karheem Adanla, Olori Balkiz Anuoluwapo Karheem Adanla, and Olori Mahmuda Ayoka Karheem Adanla.

 

The house being commissioned, 'Adanla's Palace', is located inside Alhaji Lateef Oyelade GRA, Ring Road, Ibadan. It's not just a building but a tastefully finished masterpiece. The palatial mansion boats of several modern facilities including a beautiful Mosque (Princess Alhaja Haolat Adanla's Mosque), an Olympic size swimming pool, a Volleyball Court, a well-equiped fitness centre, and more.

 

Adanla has every reason to pamper himself with such a luxurious mansion. He works so hard.
