Over the weekend, Engr Idowu Lamidi, MD/CEO of Dollar Construction Limited, held a cash empowerment programme in commemoration of his birthday celebration. More than 500 indigenes of Oyo town benefited from the scheme, which took place at L. A Grammar School, Isale Oyo.
The event also marked the first anniversary of the Oyo Progressive Forum (OPF), a forum established for the development of the town and the upliftment of Oyo indigenes. The beneficiaries were overwhelmed with joy, and the atmosphere was emotional and exciting.

Founder, commended Engr Lamidi‘s philanthropic gesture and described him as a
man with a golden heart. He urged other well-to-do indigenes of Oyo town to
emulate Lamidi in uplifting the less privileged. Notable dignitaries, including
Oba Edu Adimula of Yorubaland and the Aare Isese of Oyo empire, Morakinyo
Fatokun Jayeola, as well as Hon. Segun Taiwo Akinrogun, Hon. Sola Ajiboye and
political leaders from Afijio/Oyo East/Oyo West/Atiba Federal Constituency,
graced the occasion.
In Ibadan, Engr Lamidi hosted
an exclusive end-of-the-year party for his staff, during which some outstanding
hardworking staff were rewarded with car and cash gifts. Engr Lamidi, popularly
known as Dollar, continues to make a positive impact on the lives of people in
his community.
