Pomp As Ace Mall Opens Iseyin Branch

 

Iseyin in Iseyin Local Government Area of Oyo State was agog on Saturday 7 October, 2023, as a leading retail company, Ace Mall, commissioned its new branch in the ancient town.

 

The new branch makes it the 11th outlet of Ace Mall as the company continued spreading its tentacles across the South West part of Nigeria.

 

Prince Adeyinka Afonja, the Chairman/CEO Ace Mall, made the disclosure in his welcome address.

 

The company according to Afonja has remained consistent with its principle of rendering quality services and goods at the lowest cost possible.

 

He disclosed that Ace Mall had succeeded in other places like Oyo, Abeokuta, Ilorin, Ife, Osogbo, Ogbomoso, Ijebu-Ode, and Ibadan, saying he has assurance that the new one in Iseyin will fulfill the purpose of its existence

 

The consideration of Iseyin, according to Afonja, was as result of recognition of the ancient town as the gateway to Oke-Ogun zone.

 

Afonja whose mum hails from Ayetoro-Oke in Kajola Local Government said he will prioritize Oke-Ogun as Saki is the next destination for Ace Mall.

 

"Beyond profit, this investment in Iseyin is developmental as the aim is to contribute to the growth and development of Oke-Ogun and Oyo State as a whole." He stated.

 

The Oyo-born entrepreneur added that: "We believe the arrival of Ace in Iseyin will complement the new Lautech Campus."

 

Shortly before he declared the Mall opened, Archbishop Ayo Ladigbolu, in his remarks, expressed his excitement and thanked God almighty over commissioning of mall that is coincidental with ascension of new Aseyin of Iseyinland, HRM, Oba Sefiu Olawale Oyebola Adeyeri III.

 

The Oyo high chief enjoined all indigenes of the community and Oke-Ogun as a whole to patronize and protect it in order to fulfill its motive.

 

Some of the dignitaries who graced the occasion include the Ikolaba of Iseyinland, High Chief Ismail Tikalosoro who represented the Aseyin; a Federal lawmaker from the zone, Hon. Najeemdeen Oyeshina Oyedeji (O'Shine) and Hon. Saheed Adejare Alaran.

 

Also at the event are the ever supportive wife of Ace Mall boss, Princess Doyin Afonja; Yinka Afonja's lovely mother, Mama Janet Arinola Afonja and the Chairman/CEO Begonia Hotel, among others.
