Stylebyrovero is a fashion outlet that specializes in elegant and classy bridal outfits. Since its inception in 2020, the brand has grown in prominence, becoming a one-stop shop for top celebrities to purchase bridal outfits for themselves or their loved ones.

The good news is that Stylebyrovero, a highly sought-after brand, has made a big impact in the international market by extending its client base abroad. Its bridal outfits are presently in hot demand in Europe, America, and the Middle East, making it a global fashion brand.

In a chat with Abayomi Akinaina, Nigerian wedding/celeb photographer Rukky Overo shared how she grew her brand to be highly sought-after in Nigeria and beyond.

Can you provide a summary of the key achievements and milestones for the company over the year?

My local bridal standing company has grown into an international success, and I am proud to see our brides walk down aisles in different locations. It has been a rewarding journey after four years of dedication and hard work.

How is your international brand doing?

Stylebyrovero is an international brand. Our clients are mostly from outside Africa, with 80% being non-African. We have many US clients. Our goal for 2024 is global domination. You can book our services from anywhere with just one click.

For how long has Stylebyrovero been in the industry?

Stylebyrovero has been in the creative industry officially since 2020. We were styling people for free but we got official in April 2020. Aside from Bridal styling, we do occasion styling, birthdays, father of the day, mother of the day, and groom's styling as well. Our major focus is brides but we also accommodate other kinds of styling as well.

What inspires creativity in your outfits?

We draw our inspiration for creativity from various sources such as nature, art, colours, and ethnic looks.

What do you think the future holds for Stylebyruvero in the next 5 years?

I believe that Stylebyrovero will soon become a well-known name internationally, with a strong presence in the wedding industry across Africa, America, Europe, UAE, and beyond.

What's your advice to upcoming bridal stylists?

As an experienced stylist, I advise upcoming stylists to be passionate and consistent. Our team enjoys seeing brides happy and feeling their best. It takes time to achieve success, but having goals to solve clients' problems will help you reach new heights.

Who are the top celebrities you have worked with and what is it like working with them?

We've worked with Mercy Chinwo, we've worked Rita Dominic and many others. I have not had a difficult time working with any celebrity, to be honest. Working with celebrities gives us free hands. Theirs is to show up and get dressed and they usually leave the creative aspect to my team and me. So working with celebrities is always fun and stress-free.
