"My name is Eniola Somefun, but I am fondly called “THE GENERAL” by my customers. I am a wife, mother and also the CEO of the popular online brand, US General Merchant," she told CityPeople.
"US General Merchant is a personal shopping service in the USA. We shop for customers worldwide. I have been in the business of clothing for over 10 years, importing directly from US and UK with broad-based customers. So, when I relocated to the USA, I decided to keep my customer base and established myself as a personal shopper, shopping for these group of customers and reaching out to others. Personal shopping service is not new, it's a business that has been in existence for so long. However, it's not widely known like every other service business which is why we are starting a personal shoppers academy in September 2023, for those that would be interested in shopping for others and making money from it. It does not require any skills, however, you must love fashion, because it's a job that requires passion. We are enrolling members in our personal shopper's academy and already accepting applications. This program runs for a year and it comes with a certificate from an accredited organization in the USA. With a certificate in personal shopping, you can either work directly with clients or work for boutiques or departmental stores that offer personal shopping services. One of the advantages, especially if you love shopping is doing what you love and making money while at it."
