There is a female Age Grade group that is preparing for the forthcoming Ojude Oba Festival in Ijebu-Ode. It is a group of beautiful women who are all accomplished in their own right.

The four pillars of EGBE GBOBANIYI ASIWAJU OBINRIN AKILE IJEBU.
The egbe is being run by 4 people- Iyalode Olukorede Adeyefa Osinowo is the head and Iyalode is followed by Otun Iyalode Adetoun Obasoto and Eta Iyalode Woleola Iyabosola Amoo. The Balogun Egbe is Rotimi Alakiu Shittu and he is also their USA coordinator.
Egbe Gbobaniyi Asiwaju Obinrin Akile Ijebu received royal
recognition in August 1998.
The Pioneer Iyalode was Princess Adebukanla Osibanjo (jp). She voluntarily relinquished the position of Iyalode to her Otun Iyalode in 2020 due to her calling, (she is now the Visioneer of Celestial Women of Faith International) and to other prominent members of the Egbe to continue where she stopped, they are Adetoun Obasoto, Woleola Iyabosola Amoo, Rotimi Alakiu Shittu, Shola Olorungbebe, Rasheedat Sadiq and Basirat Oluwakemi Okwusi.
Egbe Gbobaniyi Asiwaju Obinrin Akile Ijebu presently has membership strength of 45, both in Nigeria, UK, America and Canada. Members are professionals like engineers, doctors and nurses, there are politicians, wives of politicians and prominent businesswomen.
