Following the burial service, the lovely children of the deceased hosted their guests to a grand reception party at the Adela Hall located on Plot D, Ikosi Road in Ikeja, Lagos.

The reception was very colourful. The event hall was decorated to the taste and admiration of all. The dominant colour of the day was Blue. This was seen by majority of the guests who styled in the lovely Aso-Ebi Ankara. The dress code made the party unique.

The party was anchored by Stand up event compere, popularly known as MC Ayomiic. Entertaining the hosts and their guests was The Great Mkay and his Melody Makers band.

They were dressed elegantly, looking gorgeous in their white outfits. They went round the hall to greet all their guests, family and friends who came from far and near to honour their call, as they gave their father a befitting burial. Her siblings also went round to do the same.

Family, friends and associates of the deceased took time to pay tributes as they spoke on the many things they would miss about him as they wished him eternal rest in the bosom of his lord.

When it was time to dance, the great Mkay and fun makers’ band supplied the needed music which saw Deaconess Aramide and her siblings rock the dance floor. Each of them was called out to dance, while their respective guests did well in storming the dance floor to cheer them up. It was a total celebration of a life well spent.

The entire children, grandchildren and great-grand took a commemorative photo session after which the younger generation took to the dance floor, while DJ Baggio dazzled on the wheel reeling our top-notch trendy music for them to flow with.

Everyone gave a good account of themselves on the dance floor. Surely, they will remember the burial ceremony of their granny for good.
