AT THE CLASSY WEDDING OF FOLASIYUN AND OLAPOSI IN LAGOS

 

 It was a colourful solemnisation in Lagos when the families of Folasiyun and Gbenga Olaposi gathered together in Lagos to celebrate their superlative wedding. It was a beautiful traditional ceremony that took place on Saturday, December 17th, 2022 at one of the prestigious event centres, Bespoke Event Centre in Lekki Lagos.

 

 

The colourful ceremony had the bride, Folasiyun and groom, Gbenga Olaposi looking very superb for their day. Their families from far and wide were all present to celebrate the day with them. The traditional wedding started with prayers while the introduction of the families were done afterward. The traditional rites began when the groom was invited into the hall to meet his inlaws. It was an auspice occasion as his friends, numbered up to 15 showed up and supported him. They all wore the peach Fabric Aso Ebi and matched it with a wine cap.

 

 

They all danced toward the bride's family where the groom was introduced properly. He did his rite by asking for his bride's hand in marriage. He observed the mandatory prostration for the family of the bride and was later told to take his seat.

 

 The traditional wedding anchors did their best in making sure all rites were observed. They took the activities line by line and made sure they were no lapses. The bride's sister read the letter of engagement and she was sprayed with some cash as she was reading.

 

 

 When it was the bride's turn to dance in, the hall was filled with a lot of enthusiasts, as many of the bride's friends who also wore the peach Fabric Aso Ebi and wine headgear slayed endlessly. They looked so colourful in their different styles.

 

 

 The bride, Folasiyun shone like a star she is wearing a very beautifully tailored gold Aso oke, and she opted for a monochrome look with her gold bag and shoes.

 

 

 She danced into the hall to the admiration of all and many could not help but peep at how she looked. She looked so beautiful for her day.

 

 She also did the traditional rites and later sat beside her husband after they declared both as husband and wife.

 

The families also shared in their joy, the day was one of the reflective days for the bride because she had lost both her parents but her sisters, Lara Williams and Yetunde Idowu stood behind her and stood in as her mum. She was very indebted to them and they also filled the vacuum for the day. They brought in all their friends from far and wide, home and abroad to celebrate their sister's day with them.

 

 One woman who also supported the bride's sisters to give the event a colourful look is Lagos celeb lady, Adeola Adebisi, who was up and doing at the party. She made sure all her sisters' guests were fine. She was seen attending to guests and making sure all went as planned. she also stormed the party with her retinue of friends who wore a wine monochrome Aso Ebi.

 

She also wore the beautiful peach colour Aso Ebi and wine headgear to complement the outfit.

 

 The traditional wedding was planned by one of the wave-making event planners in Lagos, Laurel events who did

her job very well. She also provided beautiful ushers who attended to guests at the wedding.

 Some of the notable faces at the wedding were Bayo Adefuye, the son of Senator Adefuye, Former Lagos governor, late Alhaji Lateef Jakande's son, Hon Deji Jakande, Oba of Ifore Ekiti, Oba Raymond Akinyele, Mr and Mrs Kole Ademulegin, Mr and Mrs Soremikun, Mrs. Adeduro,Pastor Ayo. Adebisi, Mr Lekan, Mr Olu Adeduro, Mrs Abosede, Otunba Dele Abraham, Mr. and Mrs Kole Ademulegun and a host of others.
