Ijebu Indigenes Organisation Of DFW Holds 2 Big Events

Ijebu Indigenes Organization of DFW established 27 years ago, had its 1st Ikokore Night with all members, their families and friends came from far and near.


 The programme kicked off at @around 8pm with a group picture. It was a fun night with all members in their Ankara chosen for the event. Ikokore, Eberipo, Robo, Adun, Gari, Yoyo etc served. It was all about Ijebu foods and history.


And the grand finale day came with the Investiture ceremony of its Grand Patron, Grand Matron, Patrons and Matrons. 8 newly elected men and women were decorated as the Baba and Iya Egbe of IIDFW.

 The honourees are Dr. Olusegun Asekun, Mrs. Iyabo Oshinloye, Mr Bosun Osukoya, Mrs Adedayo. The event was orchestrated by the Investiture committee of IIDFW, led by Chairman, Prince Wakeel Bello.

In the speech delivered by the President, Ms Simbo Ademosu made it clear their social and charity impacts on the community. Fundraising was initiated by Grand Patron, Dr. Olusegun Asekun followed by all honourees. Thousands of dollars were raised for the IIDFW project.


 It was a colorful event. The entire night was layered out by Boy Alinco and Wamilele. IIDFW members and their guests were entertained by Dr. Adewale Ayuba (Patron).
