This is the story of a Naija-born lady who is doing well
abroad.
She was born in the late 70s on Lagos Island by Alhaji
Taofeek and Mrs Ganiyat Agoro. She had her primary and secondary school
education in Festac Town, Lagos.
In 1999, she gained
admission into the Law department of Lagos State University, Ojo Campus, LASU,
Lagos and the same year she got the opportunity of traveling to Paris/
France to further her education and
pursue her livelihood with her mum.
After some year of working, she decided to establish her personal business and event management as a Baker, Caterer and Events manager.
She has had more than 15 years of experience, in planning and managing successful events, organising and coordinating social and corporate events such as seminars, exhibitions, conventions weddings and meetings.
She has experience in delivering events, from the beginning to
the end, including complete logistics and budget management.
She has experience in providing creative, innovative, and
original events.
She is also an Events Planner. She plans and implements events
according to clients' requirements (Corporate, social, and sporting events).
She manages all the facets of events, from the planning
through the event day, and post events activities.
She oversees select suppliers, including venue, music,
catering, design and decor, photographers, etc.
She manages budget and ensures all events are completed under
the deadline. She creates the event schedule.
She manages the creation of exclusive materials for the event,
invitations, backdrops, and souvenirs for the guests.
She supervises and coordinates suppliers and staff during
events. She develops and designs strategic marketing plans when necessary.
She is also a CATERING COORDINATOR. She communicates with all
guests and coordinates all staff. She organises and coordinates event
time-line. She ensures that the service runs smoothly and efficiently. She
communicates constantly with the client to maintain satisfaction. She manages
staff and schedules. She coordinates and oversees decor set-up and breakdown.
She processes and receives food orders on time and, manages
food and decor budgets, and finances. Her biggest deals this year are as
follows: She single-handedly planned and coordinated the Coronation of HRH Oba
Sodiq Aderohunmu Ilufemiloyé 1 of Yoruba in France, successfully.
She coordinated the one-week European Tour With all her team for K1's European tour to Holland, France and Belgium, and it was a huge success.
