US Celebrity Lady, Fatima Adeyemi Akinola Speaks On Life @ 50

In a matter of days, Dallas will be coming alive when friends and family members will be celebrating with US Celebrity Lady of Style, Fatima Adeyemi Akinola as she celebrates her 50th birthday in style.

A few days back she, told CityPeople how she feels at 50. Below are excerpts of the interview.

Congratulations on your new life at 50. How do you feel?

 I feel so happy and blessed to celebrate my new life at 50. I Thank God and my family for being by my side through this journey

 What are the lessons life has taught you at 50?

Life has thought me so many lessons that I can’t even express them all in words. Life has thought me to be more patient, and more tolerant.

Tell us about your growing up years. Where were you born? Where did you grow up?

 I was born in Akwa Ibom. I grew up in Ibadan and Lagos. Growing up in Nigeria my father was a military officer so I was fortunate to travel a lot. I studied law at Lagos State University and graduated with LLB.

When did you relocate abroad and how has life been since then?

I relocated to the United States in the year 2000 to join my husband and start a family, life has been great to me and God had been so faithful in all aspects of my life.

How do you plan to celebrate your 50th birthday?

I plan to celebrate my 50th birthday by having a party with family and friends to celebrate my new life at 50.

Tell us about your husband and family

My husband is an amazing man he has always been there. He is a wonderful husband and father. I am blessed with glorious children and siblings.

What do you do for a living?

I am an aircraft engineer with an airline company.
