At the last Ojude Oba Festival in Ijebu Ode, one horse riding family that dazzled everyone was the Kuku Dynasty. Many of the family members rode into the pavilion on horses. One of them is Otun Giwa Ayodeji Kolade Kuku. He is from the Balogun Kuku Dynasty Family.
He was born into the family of late Alhaji Fatai & Abike Kuku. He had his primary school education at Surulere Baptist Primary School @ Modupe Johnson, Surulere, Lagos. He had his secondary school education at Iponri Estate High School and later at NAWAIR Ur Deen Grammar School Obantoko @ Ogun state. He also attended The Polytechnic Ibadan for both his OND and HND.
He is a civil servant and married with kids.
How did his love for horse riding start? "My late father was a very good horse rider and it’s also a family heritage too.I was born into horse riding from both parents. My mummy is from the Shote family as well. My passion for horse riding is overwhelming. I have my personal horse which I ride every weekend.
What does it feel like to
be a Kuku? "It is a great privilege", was his response. "I am
privileged to come from a great & noble family. I am also the family PRO. It’s
a household name that opens door to the next level.
