These are happy times for beautiful Comptroller Abosede
Anthony Ibidapo, who recently celebrated
her promotion with a Thanksgiving service and party.
The celebration took place on Sunday 5th June 2022. It started
with a Thanksgiving Service at Christ
Church, Gbagada, Lagos. The service started at 9am. A reception followed at 4pm at
Radisson Blu Hotel, Ikeja GRA.
The reception was fun all the way, as the celebrant and her husband danced to the delight of family and friends.
Let's quickly tell you a bit about this accomplished
professional who rose to the very top of her career.
This woman of substance
who is an indigene of Lagos State is a name to reckon with in the Nigeria Customs Service.
She is a woman of great substance, very reliable, and an achiever of no mean fit.
Comptroller Ibidapo's
insightful career began in 1988 when she joined the workforce of the Nigeria
Customs Service.
At her arrival at the service, as a young vibrant officer and an
educationist graduating from the prestigious University of Lagos with a
Bsc Education Certificate in 1987,
things began to take shape in her first posting, having brought her wealth of
knowledge from the university to bear on
the specialised assignment at her
disposal.
In her years of working in the Nigeria Customs Service, other officers have always seen her as disciplined, honest and a role model
to people, mostly her associates.
No wonder she always occupy the leadership position as OC -
Officer in Charge, in whatever command she finds herself per time.
Prior to her promotion as the Comptroller, she has served in
various Customs commands in Lagos, Owerri, Oyo - Osun Command, Ondo-Ekiti
Command and other states of the federation in different sensitive positions and units ranging from Customs
Intelligence Unit (CIU), Customs Valuation Unit (CVU) and served as Resident
Officer at the Apapa premier port and
Tin Can Island command.
Comptroller Anthony Abosede Ibidapo's promotion came while she
was tirelessly committing herself to mentoring and training the younger
generation of customs officers as Deputy Commandant at Customs Training School,
Ikeja, Lagos.
She is a team player and her undying passion for uncommon
patriotism for her father's land Nigeria is amazing and highly commendable.
She has other professional certificates from the college of
education and also obtained her MBA in Marketing from a prestigious University.
Comptroller A A Ibidapo has won local and international awards
such as Africa Role Model and
Leadership Award, Excellent Media Award, Best Outstanding Customs Officer 2016,
The People Forum's Award, National Merit Freight Award and many others, and she is
currently the Grand Matron of Portbizness Radio Nigeria 103.5fm.
She is happily married to a loving husband, Mr. Anthony Ibidapo and blessed with lovely children.
