On Sunday 15th, May 2022, Mrs. Taiwo Anjolaiya celebrated her 50th birthday with a thanksgiving service at her church, the Redeemed Christian Church of God (Our redeemer's house) 26-30 James George Street, Alagbon close, Obalende, Ikoyi, Lagos.
The thanksgiving was anchored by Pastor Lanre Akinyo, while
the Bible reading was taken by Assistant Pastor Bola Joda and the Special
program by Deaconess Funmi Dokpesi.
The celebrant and her family came in looking good and
gorgeous, in their lovely Green & Pink Damask fabric, and they all looked
unique. The celebrant wore her own first Damask outfit as a blouse, wrapping
skirt with wine Damask gele and ipele and a pair of Yeezy shoes. There was a Special appearance, as music act Adeyinka Alaseyori thrilled with her band. They
sang inspirational songs in honour of the celebrant and her family.

Hakeem Anjolaiya and their kids, Faaizah Anjolaiya and Faaisal
Anjolaiya also looked attractive in their Damask outfit. After a while, Alaseyori
sang her favourite song Oniduro mi when the celebrant and
her family gathered to cut her birthday cake, with her Pastor Lanre
Akinyo, who prayed for the family before guests started going in convoy
to the reception party @ The Lekki Colliseum.
At the event, the celebrant wore another set of 3 different outfits: an Ash
coloured dress, a Black and champagne gold dress, a net sequence lace powder
blue Iro and Buba, with powder
blue Damask as Gele and Ipele, with a lovely gold heels
sandal and a clutch purse.
The decoration of the venue was done by Olajumoke Adekoya, the CEO
of Seamless
Events. She took charge of the decorations and planning of the event. The entrance to the hall was well
decorated with lovely flowers. And the hall was decorated in a gold colour
chiffon materials, with lots of disco lights and huge chandeliers, the tables
and luxury chairs were top notch. And talking about the Seamless Ushers, they
look very neat and well mannered, with their branded t-shirt on and a pair of
animal print trousers. The huge birthday cake was designed by Final
Touch and on stage was a huge picture of the celebrant on it. The event
had a lot of guests wearing multicoloured Kampala (Adire fabrics). And all the
guests, including Mrs Toyin Bakare all
looked dashing in their outfits.
Top-notch vendors were also at the party to cater to guests. There was Shelet
Catering
and Services,
Sweet
craving dessert, and Ice Box was in charge of drinks. Mercy Food was also
around.
The Okoofaji Carnival Lagos Island Isale Gangan came in group
to entertain guests and the celebrant with their entry, while Babatunde
Adewale, professionally known as Tee A, is a comedian, master of
ceremonies, TV show host and content producer anchored the event as MC
, Sakara
Isale
Eko cultural group also entertained the guests. The Mc asked Pastor
Lanre Akinyo to do the opening prayer, while Imam AbdulKabiru prayed also
the Islamic
way.
A lot of dignitaries attended, like His Royal Majesty, Oba Alayeluwa Saheed
Ademola Elegushi, HRM Oba Ade-Oriyomi Abdul Akeem
(Oyebo II, The Obateru of Egbin Kingdom), and Oba Hafeez Olakunle Badru,
the Elejigbo
of Langbasa
were all at the party.
Music was provided by
Faith Band. He sang melodious tunes. Also in attendance were Taiwo Fatunkasi, Kehinde
Adewale , Mrs Yemi Elegbede, Qudus AkinOlaiya , Moshood Alebiosu, Prince Idowu
Elegushi, Toyeeb Bakare, Monsuru, Alhaja Afusat Olatunde, Alhaja Rukayat, Bimbo
Cardoso, Yeye Tayo Fakorede, Yetunde Oyetunde. After a while, the celebrant's
close friends and family gave their tributes. These are friends like Mrs Bola
Anibaba,Toyeeb Bakare, Mrs Bolu Mule , Seun Babalola. After that, the celebrant
and her husband both danced. Funmi Global performed lovely love songs, for the
couple, while they were both dancing like lovebirds. Mr Bode Jinadu anchored
that aspect of cutting the huge lovely birthday cake. The celebrant and her
husband cut the cake with the children, and their loved ones joined them and a
documentary of the celebrant was shown. Mr Hakeem took the vote of thanks, while
MC Tee A declared the stage opened for the after-party, while DJ Nana thrilled
the guests with oldies and current hip hop music.
