Wednesday, January 12, all roads led to MUSON centre, Onikan Lagos where guests
from all walks of life and senior secondary school girls from different schools
gathered together for the public presentation of 3 books - Becoming an Alpha
Female, Letters to my Daughters and Wisdom for Girls published by the Apostle
of Chastity- Evangelist Temilolu Okeowo. The lawyer, gender advocate, newspaper
columnist and “mother of a million girls” in her speech enthused “I wrote these
books specifically for girls in public high schools who live under poverty
level and who may not have access to read my articles on the social media but
need to be encouraged to prioritize their lives and follow a chaste path,
arming themselves with their purity as a weapon for a highly-fulfilling life!
And I plan to distribute them to as many girls as possible for free while
hoping some public-spirited individuals would donate towards printing more
copies as there are too many girls who need to read these books and pursue an
optimal life of their dreams!” The book reviewer, Dr. Reuben Abati after
reading his comprehensive analysis and impressive opinion of the books
recommended the books as a must have for teenage girls who are bearing the
brunt of the prevalent culture of premarital sex and other social malaise!
