Saturday 19th of
February 2022, was a colourful day in
Lagos when popular Paper merchant, Laide Fowosire gave out the hand of his daughter, Oyinkansola Khadijat Fowosire in Marriage to handsome Abiodun Muhammad.
The Wedding Ceremony was held at Harbour Point Events Center
in Victoria Island, Lagos.
The wedding started with a short engagement, as both the Bride's family and Groom's family, witnessed their children getting married.
It was a well-coordinated engagement by popular Alaga, Alayo Ventures.
Mr. Laide Fowosire and his wife Mrs. Abolaji Fowosire both handed
over the hand of their daughter Oyinkansola Khadijat to the family of Alhaji
Murtadha Abioye & Alhaja Fausat Iyabode Akanbe, as the groom parents, after
receiving their son's wife, handed her over to his husband, Abiodun.
The Wedding reception started immediately after the engagement. It
was a well-planned event by Zapphaire events, and trust the CEO, she did a good job. She was up and
about making sure the party was very successful.
MC Larry J welcomed everyone, as he called Alhaji Sherif Yusuf
for the opening prayer.
Veentage band, welcomed the bride's family and Groom's
family in, as they both danced before
taking their seat.
The latest couple received a standing ovation as they were
ushered in by friends and family, with lovely songs by Dj Yinks.
As the couple took their seat, MC Larry J called the Chairman
of the wedding, Otunba Bimbo Ashiru, the former Commissioner for Commerce and
Industry in Ogun State who spoke on the need for both husband and wife to trust
one another and to love each other.
The cutting of the cake was supervised Otunba Bimbo Ashiru who
asked other prominent Nigerians to join
him on stage to supervise the cutting of the cake. The Wife of the Chief of
staff to President Buhari, Mrs. Fatima Gambari, Mrs. Abimbola Fashola and Senator
Lekan Mustapha joined the cutting of the cake.
Other dignitaries present are, Chief Mrs. Gladys Ndubuisi Kanu,
Senator Soji Akanbi and wife, Mrs. Kudirat
Adebayo and others.
The Couple then moved
to the dancing floor and other dignitaries and guests joined them. It was a beautiful
wedding befitting of the 2 great families.
