Popular Cele Prophet, Most Sup. Evangelist, Jacob Nunayon Celebrates His 80th Birthday In IBADAN

It was moments of inestimable joy on Saturday 12th February 2022 when members of the Celestial Church Christ worldwide converged in Ibadan to celebrate of one their highly revered leaders, Most Superior Evangelist Jacob Deji Nunayon, as he clocked 80.

Papa Nunayon is the 3rd inline in the hierarchy of Celestial Church of Christ leadership and representative of the great church at its international headquarters.

His impact on the advancement of the cause of the church is overwhelming and commendable. He was part of the vibrant team that established most churches in the then Western Region of Nigeria.

At present, Dr. Nunayon is the grand patron of 9 reputable parishes of the church worldwide.

The celebration of the iconic Papa JD Nunayon at 80 is well deserved as a week-long was carefully designed by members of the organizing committee which comprised the celebrant’s children and a few members of the church.

The Birthday Service was held at the auditorium of the Celestial Church of Christ, Oke-Ado Parish, International Cathedral in Ibadan, while guests were hosted to a glamorous reception at the popular Kankanfo Inn Event Centre located on MKO Abiola way in Ibadan.

Both the Birthday Service and Reception Party were well attended by great men of God, friends and associates as well as members of the church from different parts of the world.

Guests had great fun as a top gospel musician, Abel Dosunmu, popularly known as Mega 99 and the pride of the Celestial Church was at his best rocking the stage with his trendy and classic music. Another topic gospel musician, Funmi Aragbaye also mounted the stage to join Mega 99 in celebrating the man of the moment.

It was a day of praise and worship as a team of 80 choirs stormed the stage to sing songs of praise in celebration of the iconic Dr. JD Nunayon who turned 80 years.

While the celebration was in progress, children of the celebrant led by Deji K. Nunayon spoke in appreciation of their father for always being their pillar. They however presented a song they produced to celebrate their father at 80. They also presented 2 SUV vehicles to their dad as a gift from the depth of their heart.
