One big event that people are still talking about days after is the final burial Ceremony of Mama Foluke Adunni Adegbaju held in Ile-Ife recently.It was a star studded event. Many dignitaries; ranging from Osun State Governor, to Senators, Honourables and many top government officials were present.
It was a 2 day-event,which started with Wake keep on Friday 14th January 2022 at her residence in the Parakin area,inside Ife GRA.
The following day, 15th,was the final burial .The day started off with Funeral service at Diocese of Ife Church of Nigeria (Anglican Communion) St. Peter's Anglican Church Iremo, Ile-Ife before Mama Adunni Adegbaju was later laid to rest at her residence.
The Grand reception and entertainment of guests was held at the prestigious Ile-Ife Grand resort and it played host to many notable dignitaries, with the Gospel Tungba crooner, Yinka Ayefele on band stand, while popular broadcaster, Presenter and Actor, Doyin Kukoyi compered the event.
Dare Kolawole, the CEO Calibration Shipping & Cargo based in Istanbul Turkey really dazzled with many of his friends. He sure gave his mother a befitting burial, suitable for a virtuous woman that she was.
For those with an eye for perfection, there was an overflow of it at this talk of the town burial ceremony. Many of Dare's friend were fully on ground, decked in rich apparels. They all glowed as they rocked "Sanyan" Aso Oke on white attires. What about his female guests? They were the cynosure of all eyes on this day, as they dazzled in their Aso ebi. It was really one day you cannot forget in a hurry.
