ROYAL SISTERS & IYALAJE OODUA MEET TO PREPARE FOR UPCOMING AJE FESIVAL

We write as a united family in full support of our revered King, the Arole Oduduwa, Ooni Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi Ojaja II, Ooni of Ile-Ife.

The Royal Sisters and our spouses met with the Iyalaje Oodua, Princess Toyin Kolade to discuss plans for the upcoming Aje Festival which will be hosted by our father, the Arole Oduduwa, Ooni Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi Ojaja II, the Ooni of Ile-Ife, and is slated to hold on 26-28 February 2022 at the Palace in Ile-Ife.

The Aje Festival is an ancient festival that is time to celebrate and pray for economic success in all our endeavours in life. The festival is also a time to share amongst ourselves and support others seeking economic success. It is a time to show charity and it begins at home.

In attendance at the Aje Festival planning meeting at Oriental Hotel Lekki Lagos are (see pictures):

Some information has been going on about a serious rift between the Royal Sister (Yeye 1, Yeye 2, Yeye 3), our spouses, and the Iyalaje Oodua, Princess Toyin Kolade. We wish to inform all that this is totally false. In a fact-finding mission to expose those carrying false information about our family and the people surrounding the throne, a ‘recorded’ audio information (which was circulated) was received about a member of our extended family spreading false information about us and joining others to malign many of us (including Princess Toyin Kolade), we are pleased to inform you that all information hereby spread are ‘not true’.

There is no truth whatsoever about any rift between us, our immediate family and Iyalaje Oodua. Kabiyesi in his wisdom saw a great human gift in our sister Princess Toyin Kolade and appointed her Iyalaje Oodua for her selflessness, charity, business acumen, vibrancy, humility, love of mankind, passionate to a fault as the custodian of the Aje shrine where prayers of wealth are disseminated to the entire world. Her effort since being appointed and after has been outstanding and we will continue to support her to make the Aje festival one of the best in the world.

We are aware of some people (fake bloggers) daily dancing naked in marketplaces around the world and a few others drumming support for them. As it is customary in Yoruba culture, you don’t join others to ridicule a naked person who is bereft of any idea of what he/she is doing in the marketplace. We will continue to pray for healing for them. Olodumare in his infinite mercy will touch them and heal all negative infirmities in their body.

We will continue to support Kabiyesi’s efforts to expose the beauties of our cultures to the world and his effort to bring peace to the entire world.
