Abeokuta was literally shut down on Monday 29th November 2021 when London Celebrity Lady Hajiya Ayobola celebrated her 50th birthday in grand style. It was one party many won't forget in a hurry because of the Glitz and Glamour of the event.
It was a collection of very beautiful celebrity ladies from
London, the USA and Lagos. And they were all glammed up in 2 different
fabrics--Aso Ebi and Aso Ijo.
The 2-in-1 party was held inside the Ballroom of the Conference Hotel, in Abeokuta. Many of the guests lodged in the beautiful hotel owned by Otunba Gbenga Daniel, the former Governor of the state.
The event kicked off with Muslim prayers for the birthday girl
and her family members. Her kids were in attendance. They flew in from London.
After about 2 hours everyone took a break and a few hours
after more guests arrived in the red Aso Ebi and Aso Ijo.
On the bandstand was K1, who gave a good account of himself. He
kept all the guests spellbound all through the 6 hours, and he played a lot of
his popular tracks.
Expectedly, the celebrant was the cynosure of all eyes. She changed 4 times and she really looked dazzling. She is a beautiful lady. She is blessed with a good figure. She is very happy and stylish too. It wasn't the ladies alone who rocked the party, all the Big Boys from Lagos and Abeokuta fell in.
It was a reunion of old friends. Notable politicians’ came. Top
socialites were also in attendance.
There was so much to eat and drink. There were 13 different
Nigerian cuisines to pick from. There were 6 Oriental delicacies available.
There was an array of small chops and Grilled fish. How about Champagne, Brandy
and Whisky? It all flowed like water. And each guest that asked for Champagne or
Brandy was given a bottle each. The Queen of Party Drinks, Deyola Williams who is
the CEO of Richbeth Drinks was in charge, with her team. Boladel Foods dazzled
everybody with his tastefully prepared Amala and Ewedu.
A lot of celebrant's friends rallied round her. They were on
their feet all through the duration of the party. One of her best friends, Sade
Ojo was there with her friend Rt. Hon Titi Oseni, the former Ogun Speaker.
The MC of the event flew in from London. He is Bidemi Alaran, an
International MC/Publicist. He did a great job. The event planner was a
stunning beauty called Isabella, BB Ushering & Security. Popular London
Photographer, Temidayo flew in to cover
the party. He was ably assisted by 7 aides who were in branded tee shirts.
