Gists From The Soupstars Lagos 2021

Soupastars Lagos 2021 was held at the Prime Chinese restaurant, in Victoria Island, Lagos. It was an incredibly informative and educational event.

Dr Alero Roberts, Public Health Consultant at LUTH delivered a key note address on How Food should be our Medicine.

Nigerian nurses offered free medical checks and counseling for guests.

The on ground cooking competition had the University of Lagos Alunmi - Philosophy class of 2005 compete against the Nurses to make the best prawn cocktail dish, the Philosophers pulled an upset to win the coveted title of Soupastars 2021.

Judges included Chief Clarion Chukwurah Abiola, Prof. Obi AKS Oghenekaro, Cece from Trinidad and Tobago, Titilayo RN and DanDizzy.

The ever effervescent Denrenle Edun was MC, supported by “Baby Lawyer" the charming Ms Esther Nwankwo.

There was much to eat and drink as guests were thrilled by the “on the spot” lyrical genius of Dan Dizzy.

The “Dancing Nurse” won the dancing competition and  everyone was pleasantly surprised when her beau went down on one knee, and she said “I do”

Soupastars 2021 was indeed one to remember. Next stop is at Astalavista Event Center OWERRI and then the grand finale in AKS.

Our message is let “Eat to live”. Let food be your medicine.
