Czar of the Tourism Industry in Nigeria, Ikechi Uko has received the STAR OF FAME PLAQUE of the Great Lagosians Hall of Fame.
This completes the second stage of his induction into the coveted hall of fame, for having the longest running Tourism Event in Lagos and indeed in Nigeria.
A man of many parts, the gangling travel journalist who has traversed the universe, was filled with high spirits. He announced to everyone present at the Hospitality Day at the 2021 AKWAABA that they should henceforth refer to him as what he truly is, a 'greatlagosian'
The STAR OF FAME PLAQUE was presented to him amidst loud ovation by Wale Seriki, President, Great Lagosians Hall of Fame who described him as a Mascot of Nigerian Tourism.
