Nollywood UK holds its own within the movie industry as both its actors, directors, producers, etc. all give good accounts of themselves. Recently premiered in London was the movie “All I Ever wanted”. The brainchild of Princess Abiye a seasoned Nollywood UK actor, presenter, plus-sized model, movie producer, wife and mother. She is also a graduate of the prestigious Middlesex University and this is her first movie production.
“All I Ever Wanted” is a partly true story based on the
real-life difficulties faced by a single mother living in the UK. ‘Knee-deep in
debt, we follow her struggle trying to get her life back. The story was narrated
by her young daughter taking a look back at the dangerous liaisons she got
entangled in and how much she endured at such a tender age to support her
mother.
In the end, through a stroke of luck, a twist of
fate and even a miracle, this story has a happy ending. This is highly recommended
and a “must watch”. The movie has lots of lessons to teach, how we can all try
to overcome the adversities of life.
The first screening took place at the Tabernacle,
W11 2AY which had the mayor of Brent and other dignitaries in attendance.
