On Sunday 17th October 2021, the
children of late Pa Bolajoko Albert Awokoya
(Mr. Femi Awokoya, Mrs Bunmi Olaku, Mrs Bisola Oludipe, and Titi
Awokoya-Olukogbon )came together at Nana’s Event Center, Agidingbi, Ikeja, Lagos
State, to hold the final burial of their father in grand style.
The event venue was decorated by
Bb Creatives and Events and her team. The hall was decorated with beautiful
purple drapes and white petals, while a huge portrait of late Pa Bolajoko
Albert Awokoya as the backdrop. The
event started with guests arriving at 12:00 pm after which the children of the
deceased also came in together dressed in a beautiful blue sequence "Aso
Ebi" and silver "Gele" to march.
As they took their time to greet
their various guests, Dj Bee played beautiful songs. Obafemi Craig was the MC who began to acknowledge the presence of important guests, such as Mrs Oluremi
Amzat, wife of Lagos State Deputy Governor, Mrs Abimbola Fashola, the wife of
the Minister of Works and many other dignitaries.
As this went on, popular Juju
star,Queen Ayo Balogun took to the stage to play melodious songs. Soon after
this, Mr. Femi Awokoya and his friend took to the stage to dance ,as his other
siblings took their turns to dance, as Queen Ayo Balogun kept the morale high.
