Former governor of Ogun State, Senator Ibikunle Amosun, and Olufunso, his wife, have celebrated their 30th wedding anniversary in grand style.
Olufunso took to her Instagram page on Tuesday to share loved-up photos of themselves to commemorate the special occasion.
She also accompanied the photos with touching notes wherein
she showered praises on the politician, describing him as “exemplary and kind
husband.”
Relishing their love journey, Olufunso said being the lawmaker’s wife for the past three decades has been a bliss due to his charming personality.
“3 decades of love… HWA husband. It seems only like yesterday when I said ‘I do’. I still do, thank you for being an exemplary, kind and giving husband,” she wrote in one of the posts.
“Ade ori okin. HWA ade ori mi. It’s been a blissful 30-year
reign of wearing you as a crown on my head,” she wrote in another post.
In a follow-up post on Wednesday, she appreciated her friends
and people who sent congratulatory messages and prayers to celebrate the moment
with them.
“Thank you most sincerely for your kind wishes, congratulatory messages and prayers,” she added.
Amosun and Olufunso
tied the knot in September 1991. The union has been blessed
with five children.
