51ST AND 40TH BIRTHDAYS FOR THE KOLAWOLES.

Leeds based Jayes Kolawole and his beautiful wife Funke recently played host to family, friends and  some members of the Central Association of Nigerians in the UK (CANUK) when they had a double celebration for their 40th and 51st birthday celebration respectively.

The Chairman Hon. Ayo Akinfe was represented by Hon. Mary Bukola Adekugbe the Asst. Welfare Secretary. She read the chairman’s speech on behalf of the body stating how appreciated the couple is for the exemplary work they carry out for the community, making sure those they serve are well represented. Words only were not enough to express how well appreciated the couple were, the association also sent befitting gifts to the celebrants.

Mr. Jayes  Kolawole is the president Nigerian Yorkshire Communities Network (NYCN) due to his diligence and commitment, CANUK has full-time representative in Yorkshire. His dedication to this duty has not gone unnoticed, the Chairman hopes in the nearest future to bring the High Commissioner to Leeds so he can see for himself the positive impact of Mr Kolawole’s work and how vibrant the community is.
