In what can best be described as a deep show of love and support to one of City People Magazine's Freelance Reporters, Saheed Ojubanire and his siblings, on the death of their dear mother recently, Fuji music star, Alhaji Sefiu Alao Adekunle a.k.a. Baba Oko, the Registrar of Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB), Prof. Isiaq Oloyede, Islamic music star, Alhaji Mutiu Akasho (Mr. Prudent) and popular music producer, Issa Alabede (Orin) were among the dignitaries who showed up at the 8th Day Fidau prayer.
Alhaja Silifat Alake Ojubanire who was in her 80s had passed
on in the night of October 3rd after a brief illness at the Federal Medical
Centre, Idi-Aba, Abeokuta, Ogun State, and was buried according to Islamic rite
in the morning of October 4th, 2019. Hence, her 8th Day Fidau fell on Friday,
October 11th, where family members and friends from near and far rallied round
the house-hold of late Alhaji Yekini Ojubanire to give a befitting final burial
rites to their deceased mother.
