The ancient town of Ijebu Igbo is on
lockdown as Ogun State’s gubernatorial candidate; Senator Buruji Kashamu
officially declares his campaign for the forthcoming general elections in 2019.
The prestigious Omo Ilu event centre is
filled to the brim as supporters from every local government are on ground
rocking various campaign materials. Also present at the event includes A-list
entertainers in the movie and music industry. Actors such as Zack Orji, Alex
Ekubo, Kemi Afolabi and other Western Lotto Ambassadors are also on the ground
in solidarity of the historic declaration.
Senator Buruji Kashamu is running for the
post of Governor of Ogun state along with his deputy, Reuben Abati, a seasoned
political analyst and former spokesperson to ex-president Goodluck Jonathan.
Buruji, in the course of the event, shall
be unveiling all the cardinal point agenda for Ogun state and constituting his
campaign force.
Local Apala genre singer, Musiliu Ishola, was on bandstand all through the event, and was rendering several hits for the enjoyment of the cheering crowd.
