On November 4th 2017, The Arcade parade ground, opposite old defense building by Kings College Gate, TBS, was locked down, as popular Lagos fabric merchant, Bola Adesanya buries dad.
The event which has been on the lips of those who matters on Lagos social scene is the burial of Prince Raheem Akanji Aleshinloye Gbadamosi. He was the grand son of first Olubadan of Ibadanland, Oba Abass Aleshinloye. His palace was at Isale-Ijebu in Ibadan.
Special Aso-Ebi was picked for selected friends, while Bola’s best friends, Alhaja Fatimo Opere also left no stone unturned to make her friend’s father burial a befitting one.
Bukky Alli Balogun, Muinat Sulaiman, Alhaja Risi Kolex, Alhaja Fashina, Mrs. Rotimi Giwa, Alhaja Mufuti Savage, Kudir Shitu, Alhaja Islamiyat Damole and Ayimba Yemisi Fasawe were among many who came to show support to Bola Adesanya.
Otunba Dapo Alli Balogun, the Baba Oja of Saudi Eko Lagoon Plaza was also there because Bola Adesanya is the Gbadeniyi of Lagoon, while Fatimo her best friend of over 25 years is the Somorin of Lagoon.
