Olayemi, son of
Oloye 'Lekan Alabi, the Agba Akin Olubadan of Ibadanland and
Cultural Ambassador of the National Museum, Ile-Ife, on
Friday, 25th August, this year, tied the nuptial knot with former
Miss Adesola Adetoyosi Adefioye.
The marriage took place in the chapel of Addington Palace, Surrey, United Kingdom.
In his sermon at the ceremony, Pastor Bank Akinlade advised the new couple to build their marriage and family on God's foundation by always praying, planning and doing things together, with the Lord Jesus Christ as their guide.
Pastor Akinlade described a happy and successful marriage as a union of a pious, loving and responsible man and a woman of equal characteristics, who in addition, is submissive and patient. He prayed that the marriage will be successful, fruitful, happy and everlasting.
Apart from the families of the couple, other witnesses of the marriage service included representatives of the
Olubadan of Ibadanland, Oba Saliu Adetunji, Aje Ogungunniso 1, the Elepe of Epe-Ijebu, Oba Adewale Osiberu, friends and well-wishers.
