Alanta fame singer, Olakunle Tomomewo ‘Ice K’ & his
brothers had a scintillating 90th birthday celebration for their mother, Madam
Janet Wura Tomomemo on Saturday 20th April 2024.
The hilarious party-like carnival took place at the prestigious De Orange Event Hall, Agege -Oko Oba , Lagos with lots of music stars in attendance.
Ice K who is the last born of his mum, Madam Wura surprised the audience with his performances on
stage alongside Daddy Showkey, Tony Tetuila, Klever Jay, Sam Oluwabiyi and
Impressive Band.
The most outstanding performance of the evening was Munique
9ja. She was amazing on stage. The audience stood still for her while performing.
Even the celebrant was dancing like a teenager but no one would know she is
90th due to her dexterity while dancing. Munique 9ja shined like a million star
with her gospel vibes. The praise and worship singer showered lots of encomium
on the celebrant, Wura.
After Munique performances, Ayo Ajewole (Woli Agba ) who was
the master compere beckoned on Impressive Band to take over the show.
Fujicologist maestro, later came over to perform. Though some
key fans had left few members of Tomomewos family dazzled to his music.
The Amazing crooner Ice K who invited friends in the entertainment and hospitality
industries to support his mum's befitting 90th birthday made sure everyone had a
takeaway gifted items at the party.
While chatting with the media, Ice K noted that throwing up this
memorable event is to appreciate his mother.
“ If I have more grace, i will celebrate my mother better than
this. But this is the little way I am saying thank you, Mum, for being there for
me and family at large. You have laboured. I hope you eat more fruits from your
sweat. I urge everyone to join me in celebrating my mother at 90“, Ice K
said.
Ice K siblings who came out massively to support Madam Janet
Wura were Gabriel Tomomewo, Rotimi Tomomewo, Mike Tomomewo, Adebo Tomomewo, Kayode
Tomomewo, Tosin Tomomewo and Olakunle
Tomomewo.
Findings added that Madam Wura's experience and confidence came to the fore and
optimisation when her husband died 50 years back, just about two months after my 40th Birthday.
She was therefore left with eight young
boys with several other Children living with her.
