Rokswood
Energy, a top energy firm, is urging residents of Ibadan, the Oyo State
capital, to adopt cleaner energy sources as they are the nation's future.
The company believes using gas as an alternative to traditional energy sources
such as firewood will ensure a better and more secure life for future
generations.
During the “Advocate for Clean Energy Walk” for the launch of Rokswood Gas Product, the Group’s Managing Director, Iroko Gideon, stressed the importance of embracing new trends and cleaner energy sources. He added that the initiative is safer and more user-friendly.
This walk encourages people to move towards cleaner energy, specifically gas, as some still use firewood and other traditional energy sources. “We are in partnership with various government agencies and parastatals,” said Gideon, “and we’re here to launch a new product – a prepaid system for using gas that provides seamless and affordable gas supply anytime and anywhere.”
