On the 21st of August 2021, Ilesa was shut down, as the Ayeni family buried their late Mum, Madam Olufunmilayo Iyabo Ayeni.
From Madam Olufunmilayo Iyabo Ayeni's residence at IIesa, her children and well-wishers danced and sang, as she was taken to Church.
The church service was held at the Methodist Cathedral Church Otapete, Ilesa. The Officiating Ministers were led by Rev. Amos Akinloose Akindeko and other senior men of God, like Rev. Dr. Omolola Aromolaran, Bro. Onaopemipo Aluko and Bro. Bolaji Amos. They all came together to lead the burial service.
While talking about the late Madam Olufunmilayo Iyabo Ayeni, Mrs.
Olabisi Ogunmola who is the last born of the family, described her late
Mum as the best mum who always supports them in everything in life. Mrs.
Olawumi Apoeso and siblings then danced together to show their last
respect for their late Mum.
Madam Olufunmilayo Iyabo Ayeni moved
to her residence in Ilesa Osun State where she was buried from the church.
From her residence, everyone moved to the King's Hall Event Centre, Ayeso,
Ilesa Osun State.
The event attracted many who is who. They came to celebrate
with the family. Ooni's wife Olori Naomi Ogunwusi and other prominent Nigerians
were also present, like Star Actor, Funsho Adeolu.
The MC of the day, The Unlimited O.B.O and Omosalewa Abeke Jegede were the MCs .They made sure the event was never boring.
Popular Musician, Femi Solar, and his band dazzled at the event, as everyone danced and
ate, and celebrated a life well spent of
Madam Olufunmilayo Iyabo Ayeni.
Late Madam Olufunmilayo Iyabo Ayeni was survived by children,
great-grandchildren, and grandchildren. Late Madam Olufunmilayo Iyabo Ayeni's
children include the following, Mrs. Olawumi Apoeso, Olayemi Ayeni, Olayemi
Ayeni Oyindamola, Dapo Ayeni, Ayeni Oluwatosin and Olabisi Ogunmola.
