HOW YEYE EWA OLAYINKA SANNI DAZZLES IN THE US

Whenever Yeye Ewa Olayinka Sanni steps out to any event anywhere, all heads instantly turn in her direction. She is usually the cynosure of all eyes, on account of her glamorous and colourful look. She is a Nigerian celebrity woman who lives in Washington DC, in the U.S.

It was after schooling in Lagos, years ago, that this pretty woman relocated abroad. She was born in Shomolu in Lagos State, but her both parents are from Ijebu Ode. She is a very stylish woman by all standards. She was honoured with the Yeye Ewa title by the King of Joga Orile, Oba Adeyemi Adekeye 6 years ago. On account of her style, she was crowned the Yeye Ewa of Joga Orile, a big title, that depicts high fashion. What informs her Style, City People asked her recently.

“I would describe my style as a mixture of mostly African with a little bit of western mixed in,” she says. “I don’t have a specific shade of colours I like to wear, but I do make sure that my shoes match my outfit and I wear, the right jewelry to go with it. As an African woman and chief I make that when it comes to fashion my clothes radiate the confidence and beauty  that I know I have.”

What does she do for a living? “I run a small business in Nigeria  from my home in the US and I do come to Nigeria at least twice a year to make sure everything is going well with my business. Back home in the U.S, I’m getting ready to start my own fashion line for African women, as the number of Nigerians moving to America is growing I’ve seen the opportunity to expand my business mind into New fields. Those are side projects however and  my main source of income  is as a nurse”.

She was given an award for Most Fashionable Woman by the Nigerian Art Fashion and Beauty, NAFB awards 2014 in Houston Texas
