It was excitement and
merriment galore as Gooslink boss,
Engineer Tola Gbuyiro celebrated his Golden Jubilee birthday party amid pomp
and pageantry. Captains of industries, engineers, lawyers, journalists,
politicians, Family, friends and well-wishers all stormed the Osborne Foreshore
Texas connection event centre in Ikoyi to felicitate with an icon in the engineering profession.

ABOUT THE CELEBRANT
Engr Olutola Gbuyiro
was born on the 27th of November, 1967 and he hails from from Ilupeju Ekiti
State. He is the founding CEO and managing partner of Gooslink Engineering
Limited. He is COREN registered Electronic Engineer and holds a master’s degree in Electrical Engineering from
university of Lagos, Akoka Lagos. He started his career in the then National
Electric Power Authority (NEPA) and served meritoriously between 1991
and 1995, he later joined Lordmart Nigeria Limited, as an electrical engineer.
After working in many engineering firms he established his own private
company,Gooslink Engineering limited. In recognition of his achievements ,
EngrTola was conferred with various awards in his home state and outside his
community ,one of such was the conferment of chieftaincy title of Arole of Iraye Remo. He is the Director of Memphis Hotel & Suites , Isara Remo and
also a member of board of trustees of Olo Youth Development Foundation.
Engineer Tola Gbuyiro is happily married to Mrs Bola Gbuyiro and they are
blessed with children.
NO AFRICAN TIME
Even when most invited
guests were still on their way and just
few guests had already taken their seats, at exactly 2pm the opening prayers
were said and that paved way for the start of the party. The celebrant granted
interview to pressmen and jumped on the dance floor .

event and he did a yeoman’s job. His choice of
jokes, carriage, delivery and energy level was top notch. Guests were very happy because
of his masterclass delivery.
THE AMERICAN CONNECTION
The childhood friend
and secondary school mate of the celebrant, Sesan Ajayi, flew in from America
just for the purpose of this occasion.He came in company of wife and the Ajayis
were full of praises for the celebrant. He said when he realized that his
friend was turning 50 he had to book his ticket down to Nigeria to felicitate
with a wonderful friend and brother.
AVALANCHE OF ENGINEERS
The celebrant is an
engineer of repute and it was not a surprise when engineers from different
spheres of life besieged the Texas connection venue to celebrate with one of
their own. They were very happy at the level of success so far recorded by
Engineer Gbuyiro.
ROYAL PRESENCE FELT @ THE EVENT
The celebrant being a
popular figure in Ekiti and by extension in Nigeria as a whole, Oba Kalejaiye
of Iloko Ekiti came to celebrate and he offered royal blessings at the event.
The Oba posited that the celebrant has been a wonderful individual hence his
presence at the event. He said he had to create time out of tight schedule to
travel down from Iloko -Ekiti just to grace the occasion.

state guber aspirant, Senator Babafemi Ojudu also made his presence felt
at the occasion. He posited that Tola
Gbuyiro is a wonderful Ekiti Man who has carved a niche for himself in the
engineering profession.
CELEBRANT’S WIFE UP
& RUNNING
Just like the
expression ‘’Behind a successful Man Lies a woman’’ Mrs Bola Gbuyiro is the
celebrant’s wife and the woman who has been giving support to him. She was
practically on her feet through out the duration of her hubby’s birthday
ensuring that everything went well. She basically moved from one table to another
ensuring that every guest was properly
taken care of. She was very elated and also gave beautiful remarks about his
handsome husband.

The celebrant Tola Gbuyiro is from Ilupeju
Ekiti,whilst Dr Femi Babalola is the president
of IIupeju Ekiti development association. He said he is the childhood
friend of the celebrant and they both hail from the the same area in Ekiti. He
showered encomiums on the celebrant telling him to keep up the good works he
has started.
PASTOR ITUAH IGHODALO NOT LEFT OUT
Despite being a busy
man coupled with tight Sunday schedule, Prominent Religious personalty Pastor
Ituah Ighodalo made out time to appear at the party and his presence was highly
felt. As soon as he arrived he was given the honours to pray for the celebrant
and wife. Without hesitation he grabbed the microphone and reigned prayers on
them.

and sounds were well packaged.
USHERS AT THE BECK AND CALL OF GUESTS
3TI event company also brought damsels to serve as ushers at
the party. The beautiful ladies who clad in blue gown presented party programmes and ushered in guests to their seat, they also ensured that every guest was properly taken care of.

musical group Rector crew was on ground to serenade the celebrant and guests.
They rendered classics,tungba tunes and vibes to the delight and admiration of
everyone. The entire texas connection event centre bubbled all through as
guests kept shaking and dancing.
FOOD WAS ON POINT
Sumptuous that best
describes the varieties of local and continental dishes served by Lagos
catering companies August Occasion & Beyond Taste. Every guest was treated
to a delicious meal on demand at the party. As Beyond Taste and August
Occasion were busy serving delicious food, George Brown complimented with
