October 22nd & 23rd2017, will remain ever fresh in the memories of residents of Ijebu -Ode and Erunwon as an icon, a legal luminary, and big Surveyor, Alhaji Adesina Adesanya celebrated his 80th birthday party amid pomp and pageantry at both Erunwon and Ijebu Ode.
Architects, University Don, Captains of Industries, Legal Practitioners, friends, and family all trooped to Erunwon for his birthday lecture venue to celebrate a man who has done fantastically well in the Legal and Survey profession. They now came back to his Ijebu-Ode house for reception. City People’s Reporter, FEMI FABUNMI, attended and now serves you gists from the glamorous event.

Alhaji Barrister Adesina Adesanya Esq is a man with many feathers, he doubles as a Surveyor and legal practitioner. The amount of energy and attitude he puts to work is second to none,this act of professionalism distinguishes him in his fields. He is sought after in the two professions he deals in.

GOD AT 80
A thanksgiving ceremony was held for Alhaji at the Ijada Community Mosque, Olisa Street, Ijebu-Ode. Islamic clerics prayed fervently for the celebrator asking God to grant him good health and more wealth. Subsequently, just immediately after the thanksgiving, the Adesanya Maggie foundation made monetary and gift donations to the less privilege in Ijebu-Ode.

Alhaji Adesina Adesanya initially started out as a surveyor and building engineer, he later picked up interest in Law . He went to the university at 62 to register for Law Degree. Today he is a sound surveyor and at the same time an intelligent Barrister.

Apart from clocking 80 Alhaji Adesanya also used the occasion to launch his biography, a book titled, The Biography of Alhaji Barrister Abdulfatai Adesina Adesanya, the book depictsthe lifestyle of Alhaji Barrister Adesina Adesanya. A University Don, Professor Obatunde Adetola reviewed the book chapter by chapter.
UNVEILING OF THE ADESANYA MAGGIE FOUNDATION
He also used the occasion to launch and unveil his project known as Adesanya Maggie Foundation, the project is meant to help the less privilege in Ijebu and its environs. 5 million naira has been earmarked to kickstart the lofty project.
PUBLIC LECTURE AT THE VENUE
Dr. C.O Adekoya delivered a lecture on Urban Planning and Property Law and he did a yeoman’s job, His lecture was so interesting that guests were busy jotting down. Urban Planning and Property Law are the two major areas the celebrators focuses on in his chosen professions.
ABOUT BIRTHDAY BOYS SPEECH
Alhaji Adesina Adesanya mounted the podium and gave a revealing speech. He told guests how he managed to study two professional courses in his lifetime, saying his desire to study law at that time was because he had some legal issues and he felt being a lawyer would help out. He also briefed the gathering how he was engaged in land tussle with late Afrobeat maestro Fela Anikulapo Kuti but won the case 5 years later.
CUTTING OF BIRTHDAY CAKE
Family and friends gathered alongside the celebrant and two wives to pose for pictures with a gigantic 80th year birthday cake.The cutting of the cake and subsequent vote of thanks closed the first phase of the 2 day birthday celebration.

One of the women who looked so colourful at the event was the Iyalaje Akile Ijebu, Iyalode (Alhaja) Fausat Akorede Alatishe. She looked so stylish in her lemon green outfit. She came with members of (Iyalode-in-council) made up of the following stylish women: the Secretary, (Iyalaje-in-Council), Mrs Dagunro Olayinka Morenike; 1st Vice Chairman (Iyalaje-in-Council), Oloori Alhaja Kasali Risikat Afolashade and Financial Secretary (Iyalaje-in-council) Princess (Mrs) Alhaja Alatishe Folashade and the PRO, Mrs. Olusoga Iyabode.
